Quickies: 1,000 HHonors Points, Priority Club Double Points, Club Carlson Do The Math

So we finally arrived in Dallas yesterday evening after a full 13 hours of driving from Tennessee. Instead of reporting on our stay so far in sunny Dallas (sorry for those dealing with snow in the Northeast right now), I'll leave you with some quickies because we have a full day of exploration planned ahead of us (including a TX Rodeo in Fort Worth!). Enjoy!

1,000 Free HHonors Points: Frequent Miler posts about an easy way to get 1,000 free Hilton HHonors points simply by registering your phone number and a Visa card to your HHonors account (you can unsubscribe from the text messages at anytime, even immediately). If you want to take this promotion even further, you'll receive an additional 4,000 by spending $100 or more at at US Hilton location.

Priority Club Double Points Promotion: Remember that registration is now open for Priority Club/InterContinental's double points promotion, which runs from 1/23 - 4/30.

Club Carlson's "Do The Math": Since we are already on the topic of hotels, I figure it would be appropriate to share that while logging into the internet at Radisson last night, I was redirected to www.dothemathsite.com, which allows you to visually compare Club Carlson's points and redemption rates along side other leading hotel loyalty programs based on your hotel-stay patterns. Pretty cool, now you can "see" why Club Carlson has won my loyalty. :)

  1. That Club Carlson "dothemath" site is quite clever.

Although they make it for hotel stays only and do not account for Credit Cards.

The opportunities a co-branded credit card can open up for the traveler is amazing. I tend to rely on them more than flights/hotel stays for earning free awards.
